在推出的天闊K893獲得巨大成功後，天闊公司又趁熱打鐵，推出了天闊K898。獨特的DV造型，開創了一個貼牌新時代。130W像素攝像頭，細膩的26W色顯示屏，內置的128M的內存，在當時是超大的容量，超前的造型加上捨得本的功能，熱賣不在話下，更重要的是贏得了一大批的粉絲，市場慢慢的形成。

飛創918開創的是游戲手機的時代，PSP的外形、內置的游戲功能、強大的mp4播放功能和絕美的屏幕讓我們看到了更多的山寨世界，讓我們知道原來手機也可以是游戲機的，讓我們擺脫了諾基亞QD之類的束縛，思想開化。 飛創918後，又出現過類似的機型，但是無論是從質量、做工、外形各方面看上去都沒辦法和飛創918相媲美。比如也很經典的三酷A815、三酷A816我們可以將三酷A815視為飛創的進化版本，其在游戲速度和游戲格式方面有一定的優勢。
同期，高像素的手機進入我們的視野，比較突出的代表是cectv668-9.其320w像素的自動對焦攝像頭從沒有在國產機上出現過，不能不說是一大突破。
