猫》是来一部成功的源音乐剧。但是，《猫》的创作在其演出成功之前，却备受专业人士的置疑。因为，它所依赖的剧本改编自的已故著名诗人的一首长诗，用诗作剧本难以很好地表达剧情，而且其中没有足以吸引观众的曲折的戏剧情节，没有复杂的人物关系，没有激烈的戏剧冲突，更缺乏深刻的心想内涵，剧中的人物和其生活的世界竟然是人类社会以外的“猫”和“猫的世界”。但《猫》的制作人，著名音乐剧作曲家安德鲁·洛伊·韦伯却坚信：只要有气氛，音乐剧不用剧情也能打动人。最终，《猫》依靠其优秀的音乐和舞台呈现取得了成功，也为世界音乐剧的创作提供了新的思路。 戏剧性是戏剧创作不可缺少的关键因素，《猫》的创作难道可以例外?笔者以为，只要音乐和舞台呈现具有丰富的戏剧性，就可以弥补剧诗戏剧性的匮乏，使整个音乐剧总体保持一定的戏剧性水平，音乐剧才可能获得成功。从《猫》创作的各个层面入手，分析剧诗、音乐、舞台呈现(包括表演、歌唱、舞蹈、布景、道具、服装、化妆、灯光和音响效果)的戏剧性因素蕴藏状况，以能够证实《猫》之所以能够成为世界一流的音乐剧，其中丰富的戏剧性因素的起到了十分重要的作用。

第三首说杰里科猫每年都去参加舞会
第四首介绍一只名叫jenny any dots，她很热心，每天找个舒适的地方坐着，到了晚上就开始忙活起来，她教老鼠缝窗帘要蟑螂找工作，而且发明了一种甲虫纹身
第四首介绍的猫俗称摇滚猫，他很喜欢唱反调，并且很有魅力
第五首唱魅力猫美丽逝去之后的凄惨
第六首讲一只绅士猫，他很胖，混迹于上流社会，猫们都以他为荣
第七首讲两只爱偷鸡摸狗的小猫，他们貌似是双胞胎，我觉得他们很可爱
第八首介绍猫们的领袖，说他的寿命非常长，所有的猫都是他的后代
第九首是munkustrap向old D介绍两种狗打起来的过程，满公园都能听到他们的叫声，直到有一只超人猫制止了他们。介绍超人猫那段挺有意思
第十首就是在不停的夸杰里科猫
第十一首基本上就是别的猫把第六首的歌唱了，然后魅力猫想找回过去的荣光，试着起舞，但是失败了。然后唱起了《memory》
第二幕
第一首从名上就知道一切了
第二首是用《memory》的调唱的，一只小猫用非常清澈的声音唱的，歌词大致内容差不多
第三首介绍一只曾经是演员的猫，说他年轻的时候演技也好记词的功夫也棒
第四首是他曾经演过的一个角色，是个海盗，和一个客串他情人的猫一起唱了一首咏叹调
第五首是一只在火车上工作的猫，他自己说火车离开他就运行不了
第六首是两只母猫介绍一只叫macavity的猫，说他是犯罪界的拿破仑，他最大恶极，但是永远不可能在犯罪现场逮到他，macavity把old d抓走了
第七首是讲一只会变魔术的小猫，他把old D变回来了
第八首继续是魅力猫的歌，不用介绍都知道内容
第九首就是选定魅力猫上九重天了
第十首是说猫都是骄傲聪明的，跟狗不一样，所以要尊重猫
